# Calls tutorials

Manage Calls for your Sendbird app from the terminal. With these tutorials, you can:

* Turn on Calls for an app that doesn't have it yet
* Change how calls connect when callers' devices can't reach each other directly
* Check how much Calls your organization and app use

These tutorials are for running commands yourself in a terminal. If you use an AI coding agent, such as Claude Code or Codex, describe what you want in plain words instead, and the agent runs the commands. See [Example requests](/readme/ai-agents.md#example-requests).

The calls themselves run in your app through the Calls SDK. To add voice and video calls to your app's code, follow [Add voice and video calls](/plugins/client/add-voice-and-video-calls.md).

## Before you begin

* [Log in](/readme/quickstart.md#step-2-log-in) and [select an app](/readme/quickstart.md#step-3-select-your-app) by following the Quickstart.
* For the relay tutorial, the app must have Calls turned on. If it doesn't, start with [Turn on Calls for an app](/readme/calls/turn-on-calls.md).
* The app's region, your contract, and your account permissions must support the operation you want to run.
